At Team Feet, we’re known for our relentless commitment to innovation and delivering the highest quality products to our customers. We're incredibly excited to share the latest advancement in our production process, enhancing the visual appeal of our custom socks.

In our ongoing quest for perfection, we continually re-evaluate and refine our production process to ensure we provide the best product possible. Most recently, our focus has been on the sublimation section of our custom sock bases.

Historically, this section of the sock has always been white, a necessary colour to ensure the accurate application of other colours during the sublimation process. However, we noticed a challenge - when our socks, particularly those with darker designs, were stretched, the white spandex underlayer could become visible, slightly disrupting the overall visual effect.

To address this issue, we embarked on an innovative exploration: experimenting with black spandex for darker sock bases, in place of the traditional white.

The results have been overwhelmingly positive! By using black spandex on darker designs, we've been able to maintain the integrity of the rich, vibrant colours, even when the sock is stretched. This enhancement is particularly noticeable on socks with a Comp (3x1) knit configuration.

We've included photos in this post to illustrate the clear improvement. The black spandex seamlessly integrates with the darker designs, creating a smooth, uninterrupted visual effect when worn and stretched during active use.

We've now assigned default spandex colours to complement each of our available base colours.This will ensure both the base and design are better supported.
